MIRIAM Margolyes has admitted to being "deeply ashamed" of HITTING her paralysed mother. The comedian sat down with BBC One Imagine host Alan Yentob to reveal the devastating moment she opted out of sharing in her autobiography.
Miriam, 80, released her book This Much Is True this year as a memoir looking back on her life - packed with outlandish memories.
However, the Harry Potter actress revealed she did leave out some details about her relationship with her mother Ruth.
