Drake has bounced back from his recent tussle with COVID-19, and as promised, has confirmed a new date for his Young Money reunion concert with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.The show was initially booked to go down last Monday (August 1), but was postponed just hours out from kick-off when Drake revealed that he’d tested positive for COVID-19. At the time, the rapper said he would reschedule the show “to the SOONEST date possible”, assuring fans that “the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the covid)”.The show will now go ahead tonight (August 6) at its original venue, the 16,000-capacity Budweiser Stage in Drake’s hometown of Toronto.

Drake contracting covid can release a sigh of relief. The man who struck and killed Nicki Minaj's father last February has been sentenced to a year in jail - despite protests from the famed rapper's mother.  Charles Polevich, 72, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene and tampering with evidence. He was also ordered to pay a fine to the tune of $5,000, in addition to having his driver's license suspended for six months.

Nicki Minaj’s father Robert Maraj in a February 2021 hit-and-run incident has been sentenced to one year in prison.Charles Polevich, 71, struck 64-year-old Maraj while he was walking in the village of Mineola on Long Island, New York.Polevich drove off without calling emergency services and also hid his car. Maraj was taken to a Nassau County hospital where he died.Nassau County police were able to track down Polevich’s vehicle using security footage.  Polevich was arrested and charged three days after the incident.“He’s absolutely aware of what happened,” Nassau Police Homicide Detective Lt.

Kenneth Petty has been sentenced for failing to register as a sex offender. Nicki Minaj's husband, who pleaded guilty to the charges against him in September, has been sentenced to a mix of in-home confinement, probation and fines, ET confirms.«Kenneth Petty pleaded guilty in September 2021 to one count of failure to register as a sex offender,» a public information officer for the U.S. Attorney's office in Los Angeles told ET.

Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, to one year of home detention and three years of probation after he failed to register as a sex offender.Californian law states that Petty – who was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in 1995 – would have been required to register as a sex offender within five business days of moving to the state.According to federal court documents, Petty moved from New York to California in July of 2019 but failed to update his status. New York’s sex offender registry demands that a convicted offender must notify authorities within 10 days of changing their address.Petty was subsequently arrested in November 2019.

Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, could face 15 months in prison for failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California.According to TMZ, federal prosecutors are refusing to allow Petty to serve his sentence under home confinement, arguing that the couple’s mansion in Calabasas does not qualify as sufficient punishment.Authorities in Beverly Hills first arrested Petty in November 2019 after learning that he had moved from New York to California, and that he failed to submit his sex offender status in the process. He was subsequently released on a $20,000 bail.However, it was discovered he was still facing similar federal charges for another arrest in March 2020.The charge stems from a 1995 case, where Petty was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in New York after pleading guilty.
