PEAKY Blinders and Line of Duty have stopped filming "until further notice" amid the coronavirus pandemic. While the Birmingham gangster show had not begun filming, production on BBC One cop drama Line of Duty began last month.
Now the BBC and the show's respective production companies have decided to postpone filming until they know otherwise. A BBC spokesperson said: "In light of the spread of Covid-19, after much consideration, the producers - Caryn Mandabach Productions and Tiger Aspect Productions - of Peaky Blinders S6 have postponed filming, and World Productions of Line of Duty S6 have suspended filming, both in consultation with and supported by the BBC.
