Sejin Croninger has been joined Paramount Pictures as executive vp of worldwide acquisitions, the studio announced Tuesday. She'll arrive at the Melrose lot on Sept.

8, reporting to newly installed Paramount Motion Picture Group president Emma Watts. In the new role, Croninger will oversee the global content acquisitions group, which is inclusive of both theatrical and home media acquisitions on both the domestic and international sides, as well as remake rights.
