On Thursday, Buckingham Palace released a statement saying that The Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral after doctors became "concerned for her health".

A Palace spokesperson said: "Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision." The statement concluded: "The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral." According to the reports, if the Queen were to die at her retreat in Balmoral, her body would be taken to Holyrood Palace.The Palace, along with the Scottish Parliament and St Giles' Cathedral would become the main focus for the public and the world's media.
