Princess Beatrice shares emotional poem in honour of her grandmother the Queen

Princess Beatrice has shared an emotional poem in honour of her grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II . The poem was shared to Instagram by her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi , who revealed that the poem had been written by his brother Alby Shale, who had gifted it to his sister-in-law following the death of her grandmother.

Sharing a screenshot of the poem, which mentions Paddington Bear and James Bond, to Instagram, Edoardo captioned it: “Your Majesty, Thank you.Thank you to my wonderful brother Alby Shale for writing this for Beatrice and thank you for allowing us to share it.Thank you.” The poem begins by thanking Her Majesty for her guidance over the years.

It reads: “Thank you for guiding for 70 years “Thank you for guiding with values not spears “Thank you for guiding your whole adult life “Thank you for guiding with dignity, not strife” The poem then goes on to thank the late monarch for “leading England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales,” and thanks her for helping Prime Ministers thrive and ensuring the monarchy survives.
