'On a more positive note...' - Joe Wainman buzzing as Leeds and Marsch get triple boost
msn.comJoe Wainman was left buzzing on Twitter following the latest injury update coming out of Leeds United. The story of the season for Leeds United has been centred around a major injury crisis that has never eased up, with the likes of Patrick Bamford, Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips all spending prolonged periods of time on the sidelines.
Despite another one of their star players picking up an injury prior to the international break in the form of Illan Meslier and Bamford suffering yet another setback, there has been a more positive update to emerge, with Cooper, Phillips and Llorente all in contention to play this week.
Wainman was clearly delighted with this, declaring the update a positive one with Leeds looking to push away from the bottom three as soon as possible. TIF Thoughts on Leeds’ injury update…It will be an almighty help for Jesse Marsch as he looks to make it three wins in a row, which would be the first time Leeds have managed to achieve such a feat this season and potentially put them 10 points clear of the drop.
While both Cooper and Phillips were on the bench for Leeds’ last match and Llorente went off injured, it will be massive for Marsch to know he can now fully call upon a trio of major stars for Leeds.
