Elinor Barker, 26, was in training on the roads of Manchester last month when a car drove straight into her at a roundabout.
It failed to stop and left Elinor stricken by the roadside. Despite reporting the incident to police, the driver has never been traced, reports the Mirror.
In her first interview since the accident, Cardiff-born Elinor, who won team pursuit gold at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, said: "I did not get any information on the car whatsoever. "It happened really quickly. "So nothing has happened to the driver.
