Residents have hit out at plans for two six-storey blocks of flats in Old Kilpatrick, which they claim will “dwarf” their homes.Link Group wants to build the new housing development on the site of a derelict warehouse on Dumbarton Road.It would contain 48 flats with associated parking.The firm has applied to West Dunbartonshire Council for permission but its bid has been met with anger from neighbours, who are concerned over the height of the planned blocks.Most say they are not against a housing development there but say the size of the blocks is not in keeping with the area.An agent for the firm said the final designs follow discussions with council planning chiefs and have been amended to suit their comments.One elderly couple have
