Paul Arthurs has revealed he's been diagnosed with tonsil cancer and will be taking a break from playing as he undergoes treatment.The 56 year old, who is the guitarist for popular band Oasis, took to his Instagram and Twitter feed to share the message with his 111,000 followers as he wrote: "Just to let you all know I'm going to be taking a break from playing for a while. "I've been diagnosed with tonsil cancer, but t he good news is it's treatable and I'll be starting a course of treatment soon." He continued: "I'll keep you posted how it's going, I'm gutted I'm missing the gigs with Liam and the band.

Bandmate Liam Gallagher, who needs a hip replacement but "would rather be in pain", tweeted: "Sending BIG love to the 1 n only Bonehead and his family wishing you a speedy.
