But the natural phenomenon is just as easy to see in Scotland, as pictures showed it lighting up the country’s skies circulated around social media.
Freja Lundberg, student ambassador at the University of Aberdeen’s Museum’s and Special Collections, managed to catch a glimpse of the incredible sight over Wardlaw Mausoleum in Inverness last Wednesday and Thursday.
