DANIEL Craig’s No Time To Die had the biggest UK opening weekend for a James Bond film — raking in more than £21million. It beat Skyfall and Spectre, which both took about £20million at UK box offices in their first three days.
And the movie is still to open in America on Friday and in China in late October, which will further boost its impressive numbers.
Studio bosses are expecting it to be the third most successful Bond film internationally, following months of pandemic delays.
No Time To Die was released in 772 cinemas in the UK and Ireland last Thursday — making it Universal’s widest release. Skyfall opened in 587 cinemas in 2012.
