Bernie Sander
Bernard Sanders (born September 8, 1941) is an American politician who has served as the junior United States Senator from Vermont since 2007 and as U.S. Representative for the state's at-large congressional district from 1991 to 2007. He is the longest-serving independent in U.S. congressional history, although he has a close relationship with the Democratic Party, having caucused with House and Senate Democrats for most of his congressional career. Sanders unsuccessfully sought the Democratic Party nomination for president of the United States in 2016 and 2020.

presidential contender Bernie Sanders.“Public Enemy and Public Enemy Radio will be moving forward without Flavor Flav. We thank him for his years of service and wish him well,” the band said in a statement on Sunday, shortly before appearing with Sanders at a California rally.Flavor Flav and Chuck D were founder members in 1985 of New York-based rappers Public Enemy, known for making music with a strong political message; their 1988 album “It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back” is considered one of the genre’s most influential.
