Nicola Sturgeon's SNP pledge to build 100,000 new homes over next decade

Scotland in the next decade if re-elected in May. The First Minister will announce later today her plans to rebuild the country following the devastating coronavirus pandemic.

According to the SNP the home building plan will support around 14,000 jobs a year, and generate £16billion of investment for the ailing Scottish economy.

Under the plans set out ahead of the Scottish Parliament election on May 6 the First Minister at least 70 per cent of the new builds will be for social rent.
