Joe Exotic
Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.
Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

New ‘Tiger King’ aftershow hosted by Joel McHale coming to Netflix

nypost.comNetflix announced Thursday that a “Tiger King” after-show hosted by Joel McHale will premiere on Sunday. The show’s Jeff Lowe, who took over the Oklahoma exotic animal zoo from Joe Exotic, had recently hinted that a new episode would be coming this week.
The teaser for the eighth installment features McHale wearing a cowboy hat and promising that he talked to several of the show’s subjects about what’s been happening in their lives.
Among the show’s subjects appearing in the new episode are Joe Exotic’s ex-husband John Finlay, Saff, reality show producer Rick Kirkman and Lowe and his wife Lauren — but notably not Carole Baskin or Joe Maldonado-Passage, aka Joe Exotic, who is currently in a prison medical facility in Texas.
