Abergele has been the talk of the town for weeks as cranes have been spotted lifting ominous items that could be potentially used for the famous bushtucker trials.
Drone pictures taken by a reader on Sunday appear to show makeshift rooms being created for the reality programme - reported to be based on a medieval theme this year.
A marquee has also been erected at the roofless ruins which are said to be haunted and could provide the perfect backdrop for the show's "gruelling trials".
Last week, we reported how ITV has contributed to a series of "emergency works" ahead of the production. These are aimed at ensuring the castle is "safe to walk around" and is accessible to those on set.
