THE Witcher will welcome a host of new faces for its second season. The Netflix fantasy drama made waves on the streaming service when it dropped late last year and has already amassed a dedicated fan base who are counting down the days for new episodes.
With filming officially underway, new names are popping up all the time and the latest to join the cast is Kim Bodnia. If the name sounds familiar, the actor played Villanelle’s handler on BBC thriller Killing Eve.
He will play supporting character Vesemir, a figurehead from the Golden Age of witchers. Vesemir is the series’ oldest and most experienced witcher and serves as a father figure to leading man Geralt, played by Henry Cavill.
