Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.

With Joe, real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage, currently behind bars after having been found guilty of a murder-for-hire plot and multiple animal cruelty charges, Netflix have drummed up an innovative way to mark one year since the show aired.

They have revealed an official TikTok Tiger King musical, Tiger Queens, featuring some of the most iconic RuPaul Drag Race stars.
