Mum moved by complete stranger's act of kindness for hungry child in The Range

A mum was moved by a couples’ incredible gesture while shopping with her baby in The Range. Chiraz Sassi was out with her mum and daughter Amani at the Leigh branch when the tot became hungry.

The 38-year-old ordered a children’s meal from the café before being told she could only pay with cash, which she didn't have.

Upon learning there was no cash machine nearby, Chiraz was about to leave the store when a couple approached her. They told her they would pay for Amani’s meal. READ MORE: Lidl and B&Q have accidentally been selling plants worth £4,000 for £10 Speaking to the Manchester Evening News , Chiraz, who lives in Leigh, said: “It was lovely; it was a really lovely gesture. “You’re not used to it so I didn’t know what to do. “They said ‘Go on, get something for yourself too,’ and they bought me a coffee. “At first I felt a bit embarrassed but I thought it was so lovely and I’ll pass on the favour.” Chiraz posted about the kind deed to a local Facebook group.

So far, it has racked up almost 1,000 likes. It reads: ”I would just like to thank, the couple who was in the range, this afternoon.
