Mum 'gasped in horror' after seeing eye-watering price of four ASDA doughnuts

Customer Jayne Brookman only noticed the substantial markup in price when her children reached for the last of Asda Baker's Selection White Iced Doughnuts.
She was shocked after further inspection of the label revealed the rise in price. The same pack of the sweet treat is usually priced at £1, reports The Mirror.
Jayne, 44, from Merseyside, said she gasped in horror when she checked her receipt and found that she had paid nine times the standard price.
