Mum bans grandparents from kissing baby son but others say she is 'controlling'

dailyrecord.co.ukA mum has been slammed as 'controlling' after admitting she has banned her own parents from kissing her baby son. The new mum says she has told her parents they are not allowed to kiss her baby boy over fears he will catch the coldsore virus.
The mum says despite her strict instructions both grandparents have continued to kiss the child - leaving her fuming and anxious.
Taking to Mumsnet for advice the mum said: "I asked my parents not to kiss my 5 month old son as I get very bad cold sores and I don’t want to be the reason why my son has cold sores for the rest of his life, I want it to be his own decision. "Well anyway, before every visit I remind my parents not to kiss my child however in both occasions they ‘forgot’ and kissed him. "T
