Billy Connolly says he can no longer use his left hand to play the banjo as a result of his Parkinson's disease. The legendary comedian was diagnosed with the nerve damaging illness in 2013 and now says he shakes too much to play his instruments.However Billy, 79, says he tries to get a sense of perspective about his condition by thinking about sick children who cope with theirs.He told Steve Wright on BBC Radio 2: "I try not to feel sorry for myself.
I do it by thinking of children who are sick, and they handle it, so the least I can do is get on with it."I have good days and bad days.
