A powerful poem read by immigrant key workers which highlights the important role of ethnic minorities during the coronavirus pandemic has gone viral.
The poem, titled "You Clap for Me Now" sends a powerful message reminding us that a large number of essential workers are from Black and Minority backgrounds.
Written by illustrator and typist, Darren Smith, the poem asks people to remember those who helped us when the lockdown is over.
In a video which has gone viral, the verse is read out line-by-line by first, second and third generation immigrants.
