Motherwell vice-captain Liam Kelly says ‘some things don’t add up’ on the new restrictions on fans.The goalkeeper was unhappy that he and his teammates were made to play in just front of 500 supporters at Fir Park on Sunday during a 2-1 Premiership win over Livingston.The capacity limit comes as part of the Scottish government’s plan to battle the Omicron variant of Covid, which is spreading across the UK.
Premiership clubs now enter a winter break one week earlier off the back of the fan limits.Kelly says it’s not nice playing with restricted crowds and that when games are still proceeding in England with full capacities, he struggles to see why Scotland can’t have them.He explained: “Honestly, I didn’t enjoy it at all.
