Channing Tatum
Channing Matthew Tatum (born April 26, 1980) is an American actor and singer. Tatum made his film debut in the drama film Coach Carter (2005). His breakthrough role was in the 2006 dance film Step Up, which introduced him to a wider audience. He is known for his portrayal of the character Duke in the 2009 action film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and its 2013 sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Although both G.I. Joe films received negative reviews from critics, they were commercially successful, grossing more than $300 million each at the box office.

Though Sony did have some sunk marketing costs for this film like many 2020 theatrical releases delayed by COVID-19, “Morbius” is significantly cheaper than other Marvel films the studio has released with a reported budget of $75 million.

But while the break-even point is relatively lower, “Morbius” may face an uphill box office battle in the coming weeks based on critical and audience reception.

Critics panned the film with a 16% Rotten Tomatoes score, and audience reception is mixed at best with a C+ on CinemaScore and a 67% audience Rotten Tomatoes score.
