Police arrested 17 people during a week of action that targeted those at the heart of Greater Manchester drugs rackets. During warrants executed at 15 addresses across the region officers seized: heroin, ecstasy and crack cocaine worth £7,000 3.5kg of Class B drugs including cannabis CS gas more than £110,000 in cash Seventeen vehicles, including ‘pool’ cars used to distribute drugs However, police were most keen to find the children and vulnerable people being exploited by gangs to carry out criminal activity.
