Controversial pundit Michael Stewart has revealed that he was unable to interject during a live BBC interview with Neil Doncaster after his microphone was muted The interview took place on Sportsound this afternoon with host Richard Gordon asking the questions.But fans took to Twitter to criticise Stewart's lack of contribution to the discussion that has been dominating the news agenda.
The former Hearts star explained his inactivity was down to an agreement that had been reached with the SPFL chief that would see him probed by Gordon alone.
He said: "To be clear the microphone was muted and the agreed format was for Richard and him to have dialogue." The agreement is in stark contrast to what took place when SPFL board member Les Gray
