The fashion chain were selling a blue 70s floral midi dress from their Papaya range and it has caused quite the stir with shoppers for the upcoming Jubilee.It comes just days after Asda's own brand George came under fire from shoppers for their Union Jack duo dress that sold out in record time.
And, while Matalan's dress is not as bold as the Union Jack printed dress, it does have a more subtle nod to any garden parties you could have planned for the celebration.
