Martin Lewis used the last episode of The Money Show Live current series to remind viewers who have been working from home as a result of the coronavirus pandemic to claim back tax to help with increased energy costs.
The consumer champion encouraged everyone who has worked from home, even for just one day over the last 12 months, to make sure they claim before the financial year ends on April 5.
Martin said: "If you’ve had extra costs, for example, extra heating or electricity costs, you are entitled to either £6 a week from your employer tax-free, they don’t have to give it to you, they can as it’s tax-free is the point but most don’t, or £6 a week tax relief.
