Martin Compston has paid tribute to the "phenomenal" production team and crew of Line of Duty as filming wrapped on the latest season.
The Scots actor told fans he is "delighted" to have finally finished shooting the hit BBC cop drama in Belfast. Shooting for the sixth series was halted earlier this year amid the coronavirus pandemic but resumed in September, with strict guidelines to ensure the new episodes are produced as safely as possible.
Martin praised the "discipline and determination" of those behind the scenes of the hugely popular programme, which also stars Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure.He also commended showrunner Jed Mercurio for the "superb scripts" in his heartfelt Twitter post.Martin said: "Delighted we've finally wrapped.
