Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Marko Arnautovic's agent has claimed that it was the striker who rejected a move to Old Trafford, rather than Manchester United pulling out of the deal.
The Reds were linked with a surprising move for the former West Ham and Stoke City forward in the summer transfer window - with reports claiming that United had a £7.5million bid rejected by Bologna for the 33-year-old.
United's interest in the player was met by widespread criticism from former players and supporters, which led the Reds to withdraw their interest in the Austrian attacker. "Yes, Juventus and Manchester United had come forward," Pasquali told Gianluca di Marzio. "From the English we had received a written proposal, and the negotiations had continued even after some contrary opinions from their fans. "But in the end, it was Marko who chose not to drag it out too long and to stay at Bologna.
How can you think that he is now in a bad way?" Arnautovic, who left the Premier League for China in 2019, enjoyed an impressive campaign in Italy last term, scoring 14 goals for Bologna.
