Newcastle were awarded a free-kick just outside their own penalty area and Ronaldo thought the visitors had taken it quickly when it was rolled back to goalkeeper Nick Pope.
He robbed the ball from the toes of Pope, ran into the penalty area and rolled the ball into an unguarded net.
