Manchester City's new signing Manuel Akanji has already explained why he has joined the Blues instead of his boyhood club Man United.
Akanji has penned a five-year deal on transfer deadline day to become the last signing of the transfer window for City. Speaking following his arrival at the Etihad, the 27-year-old said: "I wanted to get better. "Now moving here to Manchester City under the command of Pep Guardiola, it can't get better than that.
