Manchester United shot-stopper David de Gea has been handed fresh disappointment after being shunned again by Spain boss Luis Enrique, this time to replace Robert Sanchez.
The 31-year-old was a shock omission from the squad for Spain's March internationals to face Albania and Iceland, when the squad was announced earlier this month.
With the in-form goalkeeper left in the cold, David Raya, Robert Sanchez and first-team regular Unai Simon were called up. On Saturday, the Brighton goalkeeper was forced to withdraw from their two friendlies due to personal reasons.
