Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Manchester United get double injury boost ahead of Man City fixture

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial could return for Manchester United against City on Sunday. Rashford has missed the last two games with a muscular injury and Martial has only played 45 minutes this season due to hamstring and Achilles injuries.

Martial and Rashford were absent from training sessions earlier in the international break but trained on Friday and are in contention to return to the matchday squad. England captain Harry Kane said Maguire had played on injured. United manager Erik ten Hag said: "The situation is that Harry Maguire is injured and I think for the rest we have some doubts. "With Anthony Martial, he was training all week with the group so I'm really happy with that situation.

He's performing really well in training, makes a good impression. Rashford returns to training, so we are also happy with that and for the rest maybe it's only long-term injuries like Axel Tuanzebe and Brandon Williams, they are not avialable." Ten Hag received the Premier League Manager of the Month award and Rashford claimed the playing equivalent to reflect United's domestic progress.
