Manchester United fans praised Antony for his stunning goal against Manchester City, despite Erik ten Hag's side being thrashed 6-3 at the Etihad Stadium.
United fell behind in the eighth minute of the Manchester derby as Phil Foden opened the scoring for Pep Guardiola's side, with the England international converting from close range.
City striker Erling Haaland made it 2-0 to the home side in the 30th minute with a strong header. Haaland grabbed his second just minutes later before going on to get an assist as Foden registered his second of the match prior to the half-time break. ALSO READ: Man City vs Manchester United LIVE Ten Hag's side pulled a goal back in the 56th minute through Antony - who scored his second goal in as many Premier League matches - but the home side quickly made it 5-1 as Haaland scored once again to complete his hat-trick in his first derby.
In the 73rd minute, Haaland once again set Foden up as the Englishman scored his third goal of the tie to complete his hat-trick - his first of his career.
