Man 'shot dead at traffic lights' in Glasgow 'owed 100k drug money'

A man who was shot dead whilst he sat in a car at traffic lights owed £100,000 to two men for drugs, a court has heard. Kevin McGinn, 30, told police that Kenny Reilly owed the six figure sum to a man called Jamie Stevenson and his son Gerard.

The High Court in Edinburgh heard on Monday how Mr McGinn shared a cell at Barlinnie Prison in Glasgow with a man called John Kennedy,41.

Mr Kennedy is standing trial on a charge of murdering Mr Reilly by shooting him in Maryhill, Glasgow, in April 2018.The court heard that Mr McGinn told officers investigating Mr Reilly’s death that Mr Kennedy made a series of admissions to him in October 2018 at the prison.And Mr McGinn told police that Mr Kennedy said Mr Reilly was in debt to Mr Stevenson and
