A man has been left seriously injured in hospital after an ‘incident’ on a city centre street in Aberdeen. Police were called to St Nicholas Street, near the Bon Accord shopping centre, at around 5pm on Saturday, August 28.
The 48-year-old was rushed to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where medics say he remains in a serious condition. Police Scotland have launched an investigation into the circumstances and have charged a 26-year-old man in connection.
He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday. Officers are keen to speak to any witnesses who have not yet made contact with investigators.A statement from the force said: “Around 5pm on Saturday, 28 August, 2022 officers were called after a 48-year-old man was seriously injured on St Nicholas Street, Aberdeen.
