The 53-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.
Police say enquiries are ongoing in a bid to establish how the man was injured.Anyone with information is urged to come forward.A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Record: " "Police in Glasgow are appealing for witnesses after a man was found injured in the Castlemilk area. "At around 7.20am on Saturday, September 12 officers received reports of a man lying in Croftfoot Road. "The 53-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University.
