Man in Rangers tracksuit and football top turfed out court by furious sheriff

football colours. Robert Peacock, 37, was given his marching orders for wearing both a Rangers FC tracksuit and football top at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday.

Peacock, of Barrhead, appeared for a review of his conduct before Sheriff Tom McCartney when he was quickly shown the door. Sheriff McCartney told him: “I won’t be dealing with this case.“I do not allow people to wear football colours in court.“I will continue this case for two weeks.“And I will ask that you attend for this next hearing dressed respectfully by not wearing any football colours.”Peacock was then ushered from the dock and shown the door by court staff.He had previously admitted placing cops in danger by having uncapped syringes and a blade on him when he was searched.
