A man has been charged with a number of offences after his car flipped over in a crash. A driver was requested to stop by Transport Unit officers patrolling the Rochdale area on Wednesday evening (June 8) but officers allege he appeared to be ‘significantly younger’ than the person listed on the vehicle’s insurance.

The car then allegedly drove off and failed to stop for police before crashing into street furniture and flipping. No injuries were caused.

Haider Hussain, 18, of Oswald Street, Rochdale, was arrested in relation to the incident.
