manchestereveningnews.co.ukA Range Rover and high value watches were seized by police investigating a suspected building services fraud. They were recovered after a raid on a house in Sheffield by Greater Manchester Police.
Victims of the scam live in Greater Manchester. Three people from Wigan, Bolton, and Fallowfield, and another from Newcastle-under-Lyne, near Stoke, had been visited by a tradesman who they hired to complete work on their homes.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of four counts of fraud by false representation. The victims had agreed payment in installations, and the tradesman would began work.
After a small portion had been done, a second payment would be made, but the work would not be continued. As well as recovering the vehicle
