One of the UK's most popular supermarket chains has announced it will be selling all veg for 1p until Thursday. As the cost of living crisis worsens, people are looking for more ways to reduce how much they spend on their shopping.

READ MORE:Tesco shoppers warned 'do not eat these biscuits' as urgent product recall is issued To take advantage of the offer, all customers need to do is add their chosen pack of Easter vegetables to their basket when online shopping and enter the code ‘ICE1VEG’ when they checkout to receive their discount.

It runs from today until 11pm on Thursday, April 14. Iceland said all fresh vegetables included in the offer will have ‘best before’ dates that fall after Easter Sunday to ensure they’re fresh for the holiday weekend.

Richard Walker, managing director at Iceland, said: “Our 1p vegetable sale was so popular at Christmas, especially when so many other supermarkets hike up the prices of their roast ingredients, that we decided this was a no-brainer to run it again this Easter.
