‘Love you always mum’ Tributes paid to Scots Tesco worker who died within days of colleague at Covid-hit store

dailyrecord.co.ukTesco store. Ann Weir’s heartbroken family confirmed she passed away last week while a second staff member at the Greenock Extra branch in Inverclyde also lost his life.
Colleagues of the two are said to be ‘devastated’ by the tragic losses but store bosses have so far refused to confirm the total number of positive Covid-19 found at the site.
It was reported that a number of employees at the store and its neighbouring Port Glasgow branch were self-isolating last week.Leading tributes to Ann, daughter Danielle wrote: “It is with a heavy heart my dad and I announce the passing of our beautiful partner and mum Ann Weir.“She was one of a kind and loved dearly by many.
