'Original WAG' Lizzie Cundy has revealed that she feels "lucky to be here" following a car crash that resulted in her vehicle being written off.
Speaking on the Suddenly Single podcast about her dating experiences, Lizzie, the former wife of ex-Spurs and Chelsea star Jason Cundy shared that the accident could have been significantly worse. She explained: "I had a couple of days ago, I was sitting at a roundabout, stationary, and a lady came zooming into the back of me at about 50mph and shunted me right forward."Lizzie added that the other driver had been driving at high speed and failed to notice the upcoming roundabout, saying: "My car's a write-off, but I'm so grateful to be here." Lizzie also shed light on how she earned the title of the "original WAG," and said that she doesn't mind the label at all, reports the Mirror.
She added: "Honestly, I've made a living out of being one so while I know some don't like the term, for me it really did earn me a living.
I did a show called WAG's World where I would go around to footballers' wives' homes and look in their drawers and closets and [look at] these wonderful homes, it was a great show."Lizzie ended her marriage with Jason in 2012, after discovering his affair with opera singer Hannah Pedley.
