Lewis Capaldi
Lewis Capaldi (born 7 October 1996) is a Scottish singer-songwriter. He was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 Brit Awards. In March 2019, his single "Someone You Loved" topped the UK Singles Chart where it remained for seven weeks, and in October 2019 it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. On 17 May 2019 he released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which remained at the top of the UK Albums Chart for six weeks.

Lewis Capaldi is slowing things down for his performance at the 2020 American Music Awards.

The 24-year-old Scottish singer-songwriter gave an intimate performance of his hit “Before You Go” while on stage with just a piano player during the awards show, which is airing on Sunday (November 22) and taking place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the night, Lewis had a blast with photographers making all sorts of silly poses while walking the red carpet. Lewis is nominated for three AMA awards this year – New Artist of the Year, Favorite Artist – Adult Contemporary, and Favorite Song – Pop/Rock.
