Les Dennis, 67, reveals he has 'no regrets' about his diverse career

The Mirror, 50 years after his first appearance on television, he said: 'I've no regrets because I am where I am now. And where I am in life right now I'm very happy. 'The Family Fortunes star added: 'Whatever way it's led me here, it's been the right path. 'Les's career first began when he performed in various social clubs in the northwest of England, including his home city of Liverpool.

Before long he joined comedy sketch programme The Russ Abbot Show in 1982 and later struck up a friendship and comedy partnership with impressionist Dustin Gee.

The comedy duo landed their own show, The Laughter Show, but Les was forced to carry solo after his partner's sudden death in 1986.
