Lanarkshire man jailed for assaulting child after boy refused to take dafodil gift

An angry East Kilbride man who lashed out at two young boys after they refused his offer of a daffodil was jailed for 14 months.

Donald McKay smashed a bottle and brandished the bottle neck in Glasgow Green on April 7 this year.The 36-year-old had earlier approached the nine and 16-year-olds near a play park.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
