Kehlani's new music video for "Can I" is out now. The clip stars a number of sex workers performing for Kehlani via livestream as she blesses them all with tokens.
Kehlani described the video as "[an] ode to sex work. honoring sex workers. uplifting their movement." It's similar to Kehlani's video for "Toxic," except this time Kehlani's watching instead of working.
On Thursday morning, Kehlani said that the song's featured artist Tory Lanez would not appear in the music video or on the upcoming deluxe edition of her album It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. "Full transparency cuz i believe in that with my following," she wrote without specifically naming Lanez, "his verse is still on the song, the video is solo.
