Prince William and wife Kate Middleton have revealed that Prince Louis “especially” had an incredible time at the celebrations to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thanked everyone who turned out for the weekend celebrations marking the Queen’s 70-year reign in a poignant message shared on social media.
Alongside a selection of images taken at the weekend’s jam packed schedule of events, William and Kate shared a personal message on Twitter which read: “What a fantastic weekend of celebrations. “Seeing people across the nation coming together with family, friends and loved ones has been extremely special." Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter . “Thank you to everyone who turned out to show their gratitude to the Queen and her inspiring 70 years of leadership. “From the crowds on the Mall to communities hosting street parties up and down the country, we hope you had a weekend to remember. “We all had an incredible time, especially Louis…” The youngster attended several events alongside his parents and older siblings Prince George, eight, and Princess Charlotte, seven, including the Trooping the Colour parade, where he stole the show with his amusing antics.
Under the careful watch of his big sister, Louis could be seen waving at the crowds that had turned out to see the iconic Horse Guards Parade as he watched the procession intently.
At the parade’s conclusion with a Red Arrows flypast, dressed in an adorable sailor suit, Louis could be seen chatting away to his great-grandmother the Queen about the planes as they flew overhead.
